Movie review:
Ali (Christina Aguilera) is a small-town girl with a big voice who follows her dreams all the way to Los Angeles. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theatre that is home to an inspired musical revue, Ali lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (Cher), the club's proprietor and headliner. Burlesque's outrageous costumes and bold choreography enrapture the young ingenue, who vows to perform there one day. Soon enough, Ali makes friends with a dancer named Georgia (Julianne Hough), finds an enemy in a jealous performer named Nikki (Kristen Bell) and wins the eye of bartender musician Jack (Cam Gigandet). With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager (Stanley Tucci) and gender-bending host named Alexis (Alan Cumming), Ali makes her way from the bar to the stage. Her spectacular voice restores the lounge to its former glory, though not before a charismatic entrepreneur (Eric Dane) arrives with an enticing proposal.

PETALING JAYA: Juara Mentor Musim keempat, Mohd agak sedih apabila diberitahu terpaksa menunggu di antara satu hingga lima tahun untuk membolehkan dia memperoleh wang RM100,000 yang dimenanginya sebagai juara pertandingan realiti itu.

Mohd yang dihubungi mStar Online, Rabu memberitahu keputusan itu dimaklumkan oleh pihak Amanah Raya selepas dia menguruskan urusan pengeluaran wang berkenaan dengan pihak tersebut baru-baru ini.

"Saya berasa sedih dan hampa dengan prosedur yang berpanjangan ini," katanya.

Dia belum lagi menerima wang tersebut kerana berhadapan dengan kerenah prosedur dari badan yang sekarang memegang wang tersebut, iaitu Amanah Raya.

Mohd mengalami kesukaran mengambil wang itu kerana ibunya yang juga dinamakan sebagai pemilik bersama wang itu meninggal dunia seminggu sebelum Hari Raya Aidilfitri tahun lepas dan wang itu terpaksa dikategorikan sebagai harta pusaka.

Mohd juga berharap pihak yang berwajib akan menyelesaikan kes ini dengan kadar segera dan memahami situasi dirinya sekarang.

Apabila ditanya tentang perancangannya wang tersebut, Mohd menyatakan dia mahu menggunakan sebahagian daripadanya untuk membuat modal perniagaan runcit di sebuah lokasi ibu kota.

Juara program terbitan TV3 ini memberitahu dia sedang giat aktif mencipta lirik dan lagu untuk kegunaannya sendiri sambil membuat beberapa persembahan yang diterimanya.

"Saya banyak menerima tunjuk ajar komposer dari Mentor, Iswandy dalam penciptaan lirik dan lagu.

"Lagu pertama yang dicipta sepenuhnya oleh saya telah pun siap dan diberi tajuk Nasib. Single yang berentak rancak ini berkemungkinan besar akan dikeluarkan pada bulan Mac hadapan." kata penyanyi yang berasal dari Melaka ini.

Mohd menyatakan bahawa dia masih lagi berhubung dengan mentornya, Ziana Zain dan sering meminta nasihat dan tunjuk ajar daripadanya.
